Easter

Wednesday, April 15, 2009

We had a great Easter this year. On Saturday we had an Easter Egg Hunt at the church where we had almost 70 kids. That's pretty amazing for these parts! It was a beautiful day and we ended up spending almost the entire day outside. Then Sunday we were greeted by rain. Jake took the older kids to the sunrise service on the hill in the rain but I stayed home with the little ones. We then hunted Easter baskets, went to church, and lunch at Grandma's. After long naps for everyone we went back over to grandma's and hunted eggs. Gage loved finding is "ecks" and would sign more when he would find them all. Luckily we could take them right out of his basket and hide them again.

My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God, my Savior has ransomed me. And like the blood his mercy rains. Unending Love, Amazing Grace.

Visit with Aunt Annelorre

Sunday, April 5, 2009

Aunt Annelorre came to visit (with Grandma but more pictures on that later). We all had a great time. Manuel made the realization that her name is not actually Aunt Alorra, but Annelorre. He asked me why I was also calling her Aunt Alorra if it was my sister...Gage thought she was great and could even manage his own version of Annelorre, which sounds pretty good! It probably only solidified her decision to not have kids after hanging out with our crew for 5 days!
